In this episode, Field & Stream editor-at-large Eddie Nickens and Heroes of Conservation Finalist Scott Rall perform a prescribed burn, distribute seed, and set the dogs loose in rehabilitated pheasant habitat that is the result of Rall’s volunteer efforts over the last eight years. His chapter of Pheasants Forever is responsible for the acquisition of 2,500 acres of native grasslands, which stitch together 12 continuous miles of public land open to hunters.
