As many of you probably already know, Atlantic salmon fresh in from the ocean are hailed as one of the most difficult fish to hook. Although they don’t die after spawning like Pacific salmon, they still don’t really eat anything when they’re fresh in the river. But every once in a while, if you’re in the right place at the right time, Atlantics just decide big dry flies—Bombers in the most cases—are really upsetting them. When that happens, you experience the pure epicness shown in this killer video. I have yet to be in that right place at that right time. But someday. A boy can dream.
