Given that I've recently returned from a snakehead trip in Florida, I've got these fish on the brain. Last week, I caught my first, and ended the jaunt with my biggest at five pounds. So, knowing how hard a five pounder hits, and how viciously it fights, I can't imagine what hooking at 18-plus-pounder feels like. But Maryland's Dutch Baldwin sure does...kind of. Although not a rod and reel catch, Baldwin put an arrow through this beastmaster on the Potomac River last week, and per his account of the story, it gave him a heck of a ride on the end of that line. How nasty would that hit have been if this fish came up on a hollow-body frog?
