Sadly, bullets did not save this hunter.

From the Edmonton Sun:

_Authorities believe a Calgary hunter killed by a grizzly near Sundre went down fighting, firing his weapon before dying.

An autopsy conducted on Don Peters, 51, of Calgary, yesterday confirmed the city hunter died as a result of a grizzly bear attack and an investigation at the scene concluded Peters fired his hunting rifle before being killed, said RCMP Sgt. Patrick Webb._
