Black Lab and One-Eyed Snake Make Remarkable Reunions

When a boating accident claimed the life of Molly's owner, everyone assumed the black lab met the same fate—until she showed up near home in Millinocket, Maine, three weeks later, having trekked some 200 miles, according to this Bangor Daily News story.

Meanwhile, down in Louisiana, Chief Deputy Terry Thompson caught a snake on the side of the road in response to a call and, looking into the reptiles eyes, realized, as this AP story puts it, "they'd been introduced." The one-eyed boa constrictor was the pet of an acquaintance, who when reunited said he never thought he'd see his snake again.
