In March, California judge Audrey B. Collins dismissed a public-nuisance lawsuit against Glock and the distributor RSR, thus becoming the first in the nation to base a decision on the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act since it was made law last October. Now, according to this Market Wire story, another California judge, Charles W. Stoll, has ordered the complete dismissal of all causes of action against defendants Beretta, Smith & Wesson, Colt, and local dealer Turners Outdoor Sports in a case involving the gang murder of a Burbank police officer.
