Deep Freeze Means Better Deer Hunting, More Bear Trouble

A late-season freeze across much of the South and Midwest will make acorns, nuts, fruits, and berries harder to find for wildlife this fall. According to this Arkansas News Bureau article, that should send hungry deer to fields and other openings where they'll be more accessible to hunters. Unfortunately, the cold weather may also drive bear-human conflicts—which were already on the rise--even higher in Tennessee. Read more here.
