This, from the Greensboro, North Carolina’s News & Record:
_A 73-year-old bowhunter from Swan Quarter, N.C., recently shot what is thought to be a world-record American elk in Colorado.
Walter Tate bagged a 7×7 elk . . . [that] rough-scored at 411 Pope & Young points . . . . If the rough score is accurate and the rack doesn’t shrink, Tate’s elk could challenge the existing world record._
Here’s the story. Anyone have more info on this bull?
