From the Associated Press:
_The [North Carolina] Wildlife Resources Commission took aim Wednesday at backing a move that would let hunters bag game on Sundays.
Then, quick as shot, they changed course and decided instead just to send a study on the issue to the Legislature without any recommendation. . . .
Mark Duda, a consultant hired to study the issue, said 65 percent of the [state’s] general population opposes Sunday hunting, while just 25 percent support it. . . .
"We had some pretty passionate people, people who were for it or against it," Duda said. "The main reason people opposed Sunday hunting were religious reasons."_
So, should you hunt on Sunday? And maybe more important, should this decision be a personal choice or a government mandate?
