Discussion Topic: Should Hurricane Victims Use FEMA Trailers as Deer Camps?

If you think you can't afford a deer hunting camp, you may be surprised to learn that you've already purchased several in the form of FEMA trailers, which cost taxpayers about $20,000 each. This from the Associated Press, in reference to some 4,600 trailers issued to Texans displaced by Hurricane Rita:

_Along with being converted into drug labs, the trailers have also been misused as hunting cabins. A few tenants hooked their trailers up to vehicles and relocated them for a place to stay at deer leases . . . .
