Fish-Lodge Fire: Flames engulf Catskill’s historic Antrim Lodge

Two weeks after flood waters inundated the well-known Catskill fishing town of Roscoe, NY, fire has reduced one of it's historic landmarks to a smoldering shell. Built in 1890, the Antrim Lodge has been "as much a part of the area's rich fishing tradition as the famed tributaries that surround it," according to this Time-Herald Record article. But on Monday morning, while construction workers framed walls in the basement as part of a renovation project, flames engulfed the upper three floors. No one was hurt.
