Yellowstone National Park safety officer Ken Meyer was hunting black bears on Sunday when a female grizzly with cubs “came out of nowhere,” inflicting injuries to his back, left leg, stomach, and both forearms. Meyer managed to fire three shots and as the bear rolled over into a creek, he got to his vehicle and drove home. Unable to get out of the car when he got there, he honked the horn and his wife got help. Check out the full story here.
