Guided hog hunting has become big business in Texas, California, Florida, and elsewhere. But in Kansas, it’s a big problem, according to state officials who say the imported swine spread disease to livestock and damage farmland and wildlife habitat. The solution recently passed in the state House and Senate is a bill to outlaw pay-to-play hog hunting, which now needs only the Governor’s signature.
