Maine Angler Lands Drowning Man

Bob Green, 42, went to the Kennebec River early last Thursday to catch stripers. But when 25-year-old Michael Gibbs jumped from a 114-foot-high bridge and floated past the angler, calling for help, Green had a bigger target to cast to. And cast he did, with a 4-inch Chug Bug, hooking Gibbs and reeling him to safety.
