Michigan Crane Hunt? Sandhill crane comeback has some calling for new season

In 1931, there were only 17 pairs of nesting sandhill cranes in Michigan. Today, there some 8,000. Celebrated as the fanciest dancers in the animal kingdom, these huge birds are now becoming a nuisance to area farmers, some of whom are calling for a hunt to control their numbers.
