Montana Legislators Kill Controversial Stream Access Bill

As you likely know, anglers and landowners can’t agree on stream access in Montana. And now it seem that the state legislators can’t either, as a bill touted as compromise legislation died in committee last night.

"I'm really, really disappointed that they played politics with a bill that so many Montanans wanted," said Mark Aagenes, conservation director for the Montana Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Here's the latest from The Great Falls Tribune.
