Apparently you do not have to go to the arctic to kill a caribou. On Tuesday near La Salle, CO, state Department of Transportation worker Gene Fisher must have thought his eyes were playing tricks on him as he watched a 350-pound caribou get hit by a car. But sure enough, at the scene lay a heavily antlered bull that nobody can account for. “We don’t know where a caribou would come from,” a state Division of Wildlife spokesperson told the Greeley Tribune. “We don’t know of any farms that have them in this area. I’ve been here four years, and I’ve never seen one.” Click here for the story.
