When the US Fish and Wildlife Service recently removed federal protections for the Western Great Lakes gray wolf under the Endangered Species Act, anti-hunting groups including the Humane Society predictably filed a lawsuit. Now, also predictably, the NRA is joining the fray, saying: “This is yet another example of an anti-hunting group that seeks to ban any and all forms of hunting while demonizing hunters and disregarding the best interests of wildlife.
