State Record Flathead Caught in Pa.

Flathead At 3 a.m. on September 3rd, Vic Zendron of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, was about to release the 47-pound flathead catfish he’d just hauled from the Ohio River when a witness to the 30-minute battle suggested the fish might be a new record. So he kept the fish, and now the state Fish and Boat Commission has officially certified the catch, which easily broke the previous mark of 43 pounds 9 ounces. Click here for the story.
