Wardens Caught Poaching: Arkansas wildlife officers demoted for Tennessee game violation

In 2003, the National Wild Turkey Federation named Arkansas' Wade Spence its Wildlife Officer of the Year. So it's more than a little ironic that Spence and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's assistant chief of enforcement Major Jerry D. "Chuck" Woodson have been demoted for hunting turkeys in Tennessee without licenses. While both have been disciplined at work, charges have not been filed against either officer.
