Based on improved habitat conditions and increased duck numbers (see our July 7 blog entry: “Duck Forecast 2006”), the US Fish and Wildlife Service is recommending liberal waterfowl season again this year. Proposed season lengths are 60 days in both the Atlantic and Mississippi Flyways, 74 days in the Central Flyway, and 107 days in the Pacific Flyway. Proposed bag limits are 6 ducks for the Atlantic, Mississippi, and parts of the Central Flyways, seven for the Pacific. Check out the story below for all the details.
