Young Guns Update: PA youth program gets final approval—with deer hunting included

On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners gave final approval to regulations establishing a Mentored Youth Hunting Program. The approval was expected, according to this Intelligencer Journal article, but many were relieved to find the state’s most popular big-game animal added to the final version. Also on Tuesday, the Commission gave preliminary approval to a controversial proposal to allow baiting for deer in several southeastern counties (second link).
