“I shot this black bear with my 1955 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight .270. I was deer hunting by myself near Tinnemaha Creek in Inyo County, CA when I came up on this big guy. “I caught this enormous male king salmon fresh in to spawn upriver from Lake Michigan on the Muskegon River, Michigan. After an hour of fighting this fish on light fly tackle in the strong current, it required the team effort to handle the boat and position the net in the to land him. He weighed more than 32 pounds. The only fish I could land all day just happened to be one of the largest.” – Don France, Marcellus, Mich.
