Shortly after reading the October article "This Bull's For You," I went on a 10 day elk hunt in northwestern Montana. This was my first elk hunt and also my first hunt in Montana. On the 7th day of our hunt I successfully downed a 6x6 bull estimated at 700 pounds. I used the information in the article "How to Pack Your Bull" to help me with my quartering, caping, and packing the elk out. As you can see, the technique described worked very well for me. Thanks for the great information!
