Video: Bighorn Shatters Hotel’s Glass Door
We know the feeling, man
A historic Glenwood Springs, Colo., hotel needs a new door, and a bighorn sheep bears the blame, as the Sputnik International points out. Cellphone video captured the incident.
“Saw him kind of eyeing his reflection, guarding his ewes, because they are rutting right now,” Christian Addie told CBS4. “I kind of see him bumping up against the glass a little bit. We were thinking, They’re going to break it.”
Sure enough, one of the rams did. The bighorn butted his own reflection, breaking the glass and sending the herd running—alarmed but uninjured.
Bighorns live on the bluffs above Glenwood Springs but rarely come in to town.
