All of the above. Don't use live bait much, except when my kids and I pick up a mess of nightcrawlers. Cranks/topwater/rubber frogs/worms for bass, jigs & soft plastics for crappie, same for bluegill. Livers/stinky stuff/bluegills for cats. Trout I go w/inline spinners then home-made dough. Unfortunately, that's about all the fish I can go for on my budget.

I like live baits, you can't beat the real thing.
yeah live baits with plastic worms as a second
If you are going for smallmouth you are gunna want to use live crayfish because they love them
Live bait, when legal is still poor form. I would resort to it if I really needed a fish to feed hungry people.
i like crank baits
Interesting perspective, Rudy.
All of the above, I guess. It's situational. I don't use live bait much lately, kinda lazy.
I mainly use crankbaits but i'll buy a pack of shiners every once in awhile
Crankbaits are a mainstay of my arsenal, but plastic worms and live bait are always options, especially considering the time of the year.
Live bait catches fish when other things won't but sometimes artificial will produce bigger fish. Just depend on the situation I guess.
Crankin!
