It seems like everytime I read an article I generate a passion to catch a new fish, but until I land a tarpon on the fly I think I'll feel unsatisfied in my pursuits.
There was an article in F&S when I was a kid about a guy that took hours to catch a 6ft King Salmon somewhere in Canada. I want to catch one of these guys.

I would like catch a Northern Pike on a fly rod or go on a bow shoot for the Asian Carp.

Definetly a big peatcock bass with permit 2nd, northern pike 3rd and a lot closer to home
I would like to try bow fising. But for regular fishing i would have to go with shark fishing

Freshwater = Grayling
Saltwater = Tarpon!!
Tarpon on a fly rod or yellowfin on a penn spinning rod deffinetly for salt and a fat muskie on a medium tackle ugly stick for fresh.
Grayling and atlantic salmon
i want to catch either a nice rainbow or a pike (it would be ecspecially nice if i caught the northern on a fly rod).

I've caught striper on conventional gear but I would love to catch one on a fly rod!!
