Cabela's for hunting gear. Bass Pro's Redhead line of clothing and stuff really sucks, poor quality and fits poorly IMO.

I don't buy fishing tackle online, but Bass Pro is probably OK there.

Cabela's is so far out in front that there ain't even a second place. If they don't have it, they'll put me in touch with somebody who does.

I think by far cabelas they have so much for of a range of products for you to choose from. If you can compare products and get a better price with bass pro shops go with them no sence sending more money for the same thing.

I have the good fortune of living near a Bass Pro so I don't use their site much. I order from Cabelas and they are OK. I order most of my hunting and shooting godies from MidwayUSA.com. Their site is the easiest to navigate, they ship same day and are such nice people, I just wish I could afford to buy more there.

I live 10 mins. from Bass Pro so they get most of the money I don't spend at the local gun shop. The local store is a little more exspencive but I like supporting the little guy.

Cabelas has better selection, but the fish tanks and the mounts at the bass pro shops makes me feel like a kid again. i just leave my wallet in the car so that I don't buy anything.

Cabela's hosed me here in Washington. Now that they have a retail store here, they charge 9% sales tax on top of their outrageous shipping charges. I usually stop into the store going thru Boise or Salt Lake on the way to Colorado or buy from my local store. I'm not paying shipping AND sales tax.

Wonko made a great point--if you can, support the little guy. I don't mind paying a little more at a local store to support the small buisiness. Of course, Bass Pro, Gander & Cabelas still get a lot of my money.

On top of great sale prices I got 5 dollar shipping. You just have to use basic shipping and spend over $150. How can you not with them? It's like being a kid in a candy store.
