Bruntwood Lake Lodge treated me very well and had plenty of bears and good fishing. They are located in Northern Manitoba. Google them.
From what I've heard and read about guided black bear hunts, you should be prepared to hunt from a tree stand overlooking a steel drum baited with meat. The success rate is very high, but many hunters do not consider this a sportsmanlike approach to hunting.
look in the back of any of the hunting magazine(outdoor life) and they have alot of outfitters
Well Id want to spot and stalk.
smoothstone lake lodge in saskatchewan does mostly bear hunting
find one up in maine. if you want a nice black bear
Hi I would recommend Bearpaw Outfitters" )website below)
I have hunted for bear three time with three different guide services. I have had good and bad expieriences. I think that a guided hunt means different things to different people.Do you want a comfortable retreat type of hunt? Do you want a hunt without all the comforts of home, that will probably be more successful? Contact P.B. Guide services for a successful north woods Maine hunt. I do not work for them I was a client. Everyone in camp was successful all 37 of us! Plan your trip the first week of the season for more success. Be prepared for a great hunt, with great meals, and just a little less than perfect lodging.
