Hunting with TR would be cool too, you would get to shoot a lot of game. He had terrible vision, and was a pretty bad shot because of this. I'd be pleased to anchor all of his gut-shot beasts.
Actually, Daniel Boone, since he was boyhood hero. I'll add Philip Percival, J.A. Hunter, Harry Selby, and Robert Ruark to the esteemed list above. If you haven't read Ruark you should - especially, The Old Man and the Boy.
Nugent is out for me, he's a loud mouth. Maybe good for NRA but not for me in camp, I'd end up punching him in the face. I'd love to go with Selsby or Aaagard. Any of you guys read both those guys stuff, and not just anecdotal stuff?
