Here is a starter video..he goes thru a few different call types and techniques to include a slate..good to start with

cabelas, gander mountain, basspro, and dicks sporting goods have tons of slate calls to choose from...hope these websites help!

try National Wild Turkey Federation website, they have audio of turkeys, try to imitate them while you sit in front of the computer.

I also forgot to mention that if u meant listening to turkey sounds go to google and u can find about anything u want...good luck

just take the scratcher on the call and sand the end till its rought and try to mimic a hens yelp
