Interested in buying a recurve, I want to do everything myself [besides build the bow] I would like to buy bare shaft and do the work myself... Which I know how to, BUT, only on compounds, I'm unfamilliar with traditional tackle and want to learn about it... so my first questions...
Whats a good starting recurve for about $500 and under?
Also, I've done some research about spining the arrow, which I guess with wooden arrows is a lot diff. then carbon? so what do I need to do to make sure I order the right shafts?
P.s. 28 inch draw length at 65 pounds, but for a recurve I may think I want to go down to like 55 pounds?
For deer,hog,turkey etc..
