I am thinking about getting my carbon arrows cut down to size. If it matters Im pulling 60 pounds, 28" draw, and have 4560 carbons. Will I get better performance with the cut down arrow?

I have talked to a couple of pro shops about this same question and it seems like everyone has a different opinion. but in my experience it didnt make that much difference to me. Im pulling 63 pounds with a slightly longer draw i cut down half my arrows and left the other the way they were and shot field points and broad heads at different distances and it didnt make a difference to me but every one is different i would suggest doing the same. cut down a few and practice, practice, practice.
I wouldn't monkey around with arrow length too much. A properly tuned bow in the hands of a well practiced archer will perform well no matter what arrows you are using.
I shot full length arrows before that were 4-5 inches past my rest and they didn't shoot very fast. When I got them cut to size, they shot much straighter and faster. The longer the arrow, the more the arrow drops because of the weight.
you will gain more in fps of arrow flite you would need to shoot threw a grap to no how much and it will stifen the arrow more stay safe thow like mlh and buckhunter have said

people say it'll gain speed and stiffen your arrow by cutting them to length. Don't know if it's true, but makes sense. I cut all mine down.
How long are they now? They should only be an inch or two past the rest at full draw.

I would cut them down... stiffer and faster. You benefit from all the speed you can get.

MLH said it right. 1-2 inches over the rest at full draw.

I heard that it does increase spped, accuracy, and less likely to shatter because it vibrates quite a bit less than when not cutt.
