Q:
I saw that the President got his first "kill" yesterday. The PETA-philes have their undies in a wad. Should he now be considered a hunter?

I missed this. What was his game?

As far as being a hunter...I'd say not JUST because of this one hunt. He might have hated it and never want to go again, he might have fell in love with it, or somwhere in between. Only time will tell.

Probably just window dressing to sush the hunting community that he is against us.

I think Obama would be a good flyswatter. I'll show him the local dairy where he can just have a field day.

He killed a fly during an interview. The peta folks were offended. They are out there folks and they walk among us.

Seriously? Maybe if I can find some local PETA-philes, they'll take the flies, mosquitos, deer ticks, and carpenter ants off my hands. What happens if their kid gets head lice?

Maybe he should just regulate what PETA can and can't protest. He could also stimulate the organization and maybe they will finally begin to fail.

MLH - great point. PETA folks love animals at a distance.

My impression of a PETA member looking at bats in the wild - "Oh wow look we have to save them!"

My impression of a PETA member with a bat in their house - "OH MY GOD SAVE ME KILL IT!!!"

Didn't think the His Excellency had than Murdering streak in him, poor fly, it was just doing what flies do, how barbaric to extinguish its glorious existence just to complete an interview undisturbed. A tragedy, better get the UN involved, or make a new Czar in charge of insect rights......

He should have killed the fly with a gun and then he could have offended two vile organizations at the same time. PETA and the Brady bunch.

This was the first time in memory that I was content to stand back and say to PETA, "sic em!", let Obama take some heat, no matter how silly the issue. What a bunch of morons! We have people living in cardboard boxes and starving to death and little kids crying out for homes and families and these people are worried about a housefly!!!! I'm not sure whether it's more amazing or depressing.

I'm sorry I know this is supposed to be a funny post but let me drag it down a bit. The President commits thousands of human lives a day to live or die somewhere other than US soil and if PETA gives him
$H!T then he should tell them to go F&#@ themselves. Sorry my view as a Vetran of these United States.

It just seems PETA is looking for yet another thing to complain about. Looks like the old standbys are starting to get old. On our side, good job guys. We haven't done too much to attract any more attention.

Anyone can call them selves a hunter.

True hunters are people who go out day after day no matter the weather conditions and who love not only the animals they are hunting but also the outdoors.
So I say no he is not a hunter yet. He will have to prove himself.

Because now the president is going to have to make a huge apology or PETA is going to throw a huge hissy fit. So it thus empowers PETA over the president.
