THese are my three assuming that you get found in a week. . .

1. Matches to get a fire started so then you can melt snow to get water and to keep warm.
2. Something like a can to melt water in.
3. Extra clothes to use as shelter, a layer of comfort on the ground, and to keep dry/warm.
It would be nice to have more than three things though.

Clay’s tripping thru the land where no man has ever been for years and there you are. All broken up head bashed in, punctured lung, compound leg fracture bleeding uncontrollably and it’s forever in getting you out of this God forsaking place.

Out of all of Clay’s equipment, what Item you want him to have?

Can you say “SPOT”!!!!!

I would want a fire starter, a knife and a wind up radio with the weather channel. You can use a knife to make a bowl and purify water, with the radio atleast you have the voice of someone else around and can tell if there is a storm system coming.

Knife, matches, .22 rifle. With these three tools, survival is a likelihood, and comfort cannot be too hard to scrounge up.

1. Machete
2. Multitool
3. A steel cup
Fire can be created multiple natural ways, a steel cup to boil my water, machete to hack wood for shelter and fire, multitool to take care of the rest. Vines & roots can be utilized as rope or twine, spears can be fashioned for hunting, traps can be easily set up with what nature provides, so food is no worry, fire no worry, shelter no worry, water no worry.

An axe, warm water proof clothes, and matches. You would get WAY more use out of an axe than just a knife.
