The Colt Light

The Colt Light

Fifteen years ago, Ultra Light Arms in Granville, West Virginia, introduced the lightest bolt-action sporters ever. Not only were they lighter than anything else, but they were astoundingly accurate. Now Colt's Manufacturing Co., Inc., is producing ULAs under license and calling them Colt Light Rifles. The barrel and action will be made by Colt/Saco in Maine, and the stocks by ULA in West Virginia. The rifles will come in two action lengths: short actions are available in .243, .260, 7x57, 7mm/08, and .308; long actions come in .25/06, .270, .280, .30/06, 7mm Remington magnum and .300 Winchester magnum. About $604.
