Tim's Fall Fishing Slide Show
by Tim Romano
The last slide show I put up was months ago and was titled, "Late Summer." Today I give you a little "Fall fishing. A usual my slide shows are more about the place, companions and the time spent rather than a pile of grip and grin trophy shots. Deeter will tell you that's because I don't catch fish, and to be honest he's halfway right. I trade the camera for the rod quite a bit…
Today's slide show is comprised of just two days rather than an entire season. One day on the upper Colorado River with friends from Boulder Boat Works and World Angling and the other was a spectacular day in North Carolina with guide Kent Klewein and professional photographer Louis Cahill.

So what kinda flies were you throwing out of the boat, or when you got out for that matter? Did you find fish in moving water, or podded up in still, deeper water?
Now that's a big part of why we fly fish. Perhaps we should all trade the rod for a camera more often. Thanks for sharing.
I'm perfectly happy with fishing while Tim takes the photos. Good pics Tim.
like the pics and how you made a slide show with them.
Great pictures, that looks like a fun trip!
These pictures are great as always, I am really trying to get into photography, what camera/lens combination would you say is your favorite?
great stuff as always. you should see new york right now!
MLH..Now that's the guy I am looking for..have been for years. Someone that will row my boat, and be the cameraman.
thank you all for the compliments.
rolltide - boy that's a tough question... there are so many. Are you looking for something with an interchangeable lens? How much $ are you willing to spend? Many people will disagree with me, but I think a decent DSLR with a standard 50mm lens only is the way to get better shooting quickly. Limiting yourself to that one lens for a while really makes you get creative without getting gimmicky with wide angles, etc...
oh, and I'll row and take photos anytime guys. That's what I do...
now I know why you are a professional photographer and I'm not...enjoyed the art. I really enjoy the variety of your subjects. The dog and bone is a hoot.
Timmy is the best shooter I know... and, for the record, yes, he catches a lot of fish when he's using the rod. Still, I consider it a professional obligation to keep him humbly stationed behind the lenses as much as possible... that way we all win. I've learned that I cannot describe in words all that he can show in photos, though I do my best.
Very well done...a great way to start my Friday at work. fortunately my boss is a golfer and won't see this comment ;-)
