Three Amazing Fly Fishing Films, One Night - Limited Engagement
by Tim Romano
A little over a month ago a Trout Unlimited group I belong to called The Greenbacks put on a photographic art show in Denver with 24 of what I thought were some of the worlds best fly-fishing photographers. It was a smash success. We raised some money, had a huge turnout and most importantly had some fun while raising awareness about conservation issues here in our state.
Our next little "event" will be here in Denver at the Oriental Theater on April 7, 2011 at 7 p.m. We'll be showing three fly fishing films that were not included on The Flyfishing Film Tour, raffling off some prizes and drinking some great beer. If you're in the area and want to see some top notch fly fishing films not readily available on the big screen come on out. Not within driving distance? Well, enjoy the three trailers that are posted here and call your friends in and around Denver to join us. This should be a special night, not available anywhere else.
"Eastern Rises"
"Tampam"
"Low and Clear"

Tim, really? What's with Thursdays? And the discrepancies in the F3T? Low and Clear was shown at the Springs F3T, I'd see it again though, it was an awesome one. I also heard from someone who attended in Oregon that Low and Clear was not on the list there.
keep 'em coming. love the videos.
koldcut,
A weekday makes it easier not to conflict with people's weekend plans - like actually fishing...
As far as Low and Clear not being on the tour. They pulled out and I know it was not shown in Denver, so it's a chance for people here to see a show that was not on the tour.
Are these full films or the short films that were released to the film tours? Eastern Rises was on the tour a few years ago and Low and Clear IMO stole the show at the Colorado Springs tour. Thursday might be tough but if I can make it up there I will.
I'm going to try and make it down from the hinterlands, but I'll likely be busy doing field work. I've got a copy of "Eastern Rises" and have seen "Tampam", but have yet to catch "Low and Clear." They all look great.
Have you all thought about taking Greenback events out to the West(Best) Slope? We'd love it if you did.
I am kind of new to this stuff, but I have been fishing all my life. I am just wondering how I get involved in Trout Unlimited?
SageSam - No plans of yet, but I certaainly pass your request up the line and let CTU know there's been requests
jrok6661- Go to http://www.tu.org/ - find your local chapter or give TU National a call. I'm sure you could get involved very quickly.
