North Carolina Woman Trampled By Whitetail Does
By Dave Hurteau
From the Rocky Mount Telegram:
Michelle Brewer, the 46-year-old co-owner of Brewer’s Fine Jewelry in Tarboro, was flipped up in the air and trampled in front of her Main Street storefront last week by a group of renegade deer. . . .
Witnesses, including her husband, Kenny, later told Brewer the herd of seven to nine “good-sized does” must have been running at least 40 mph. . . .
“I don’t remember being hit,” Brewer said. “My husband and the guys over at the barber shop said I went airborne – flipping me probably three feet up in the air – and I landed on my face.”

I'm from that town. I've never seen deer that far in the city limits, but maybe I should ask the town council if I can put up a small ground blind on Main St...
Deer can't run 40 MPH, can they?
Nate
wow that is crazy. i have heard of people getting attacked by a buck during the rut but this is a new one
that would really suck. deer are fighting back.
Haha that is very ironic and unlucky who noes what sparked them to run this lady over..
