Bass Fishing
In my highschool biology class we did an experiment using mustard powder to find worms. Here's how it works.
Take a small amount of mustard powder,(which can be found at most grocery stores),and mix it with water. It should form a runny liquid. Find a spot where you think worms will be and pour it on the ground. after a while worms will start to emerge.Rinse off the worms and you're good to go!
What happens is that the worms are irritated by the mustard and wriggle to the surface in panic.
i will definatly try it
how did the worms work on sunnies?
this is a very good technique after all the times i have spent 3-4 dollars on worms i can use this. thank you. also how did the worms work for fishing?
tahnx 4 the great tip...i will try that 2morrow.
another way to do it is to use dishsoap with water, that's how we did it when i was younger.
I just go out on a wet night with a spotlight and big ones will be hanging out on the surface.
When I was a kid I used to look for robins on a worm frenzy, sneak pretty close, then run them off and look to see which ones had dropped a work they were working on. Could get 3 or 4 worms in a quick pinch this way.
