Bass Fishing

How to Save a Wet Cell Phone

Uploaded on June 24, 2009

Have you ever gone fishing and dropped your phone in the water and it got ruined and had to get a new one? If so follow this tip in order to help save it. Take some rice in a plastic bag and cover your phone in it and leave it in there for at least twenty min. If you do that it just might save your phone because the rice drws the moisture out of the phone.

The same method works with wet watches as well. Rice will clear out the moisture within the face.

I heard that you also want to make sure you hold down the power button after you take the battery out to discharge the remaining power to the phone.

I just bought the indestructable phone so I dont have to wory about that anymore and it works great. I droped it the river while I was talking on it and picked it right up and continued my conversation. It is worth the investment.

Worked for me and mine was completely waterlogged. I took the battery out and left them both in the rice for 3 days and my phone works fine.
