I would pick a soft plastic fluke. They are incredibly versatile. You can fish it on top, dropshot it, jig it, swim it. And they look like a fish.
WELL THIS IS A VERY IMPRACTICAL IDEA BECAUSE IN THIS DAY & AGE I DON'T SEE A PERSON HAVING TO PICK ONLY 1 LURE BUT IF I WERE TO PICK ONLY 1 IT WOULD BE A ROOSTERTAIL SPINNER BECAUSE IT IS THE MOST VERSATILE FOR DIFFERENT FISHING SITUATION, YOU CAN VERY THE SPEED AND DEPTH, YOU CAN VERY YOUR RETRIEVE SOME, YOU CAN COVER A LOT OF WATER QUICKLY,YOU CAN EVEN USE IT AS AN AGITATION BAIT RUNNING IT THROUGH THE SAME AREA REPEATEDLY AND/OR KEEP WORKING IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF A FISHES NOSE TILL IT STRIKES, AND IN SOME CONDITIONS YOU CAN EFFECTIVELY JIG THESE SPINNERS.
white twister tail!
a watermellom tube
i would pick the buzz bait, its great for most fish!
Purple worm
Super Spook
It really dosen't matter what bait you use for bass.It matters on the lake or river you fish in.Each lake or stream are different as far as when bass eat some early moring as well as dusk.I saw a older man around in his 40's nail a big bass on rubber worm around 2 in the afternoon in mid july. This bass was close to around 20lbs.My pic i have up Igot that bass on a piece of a hotdog with a bobber.
Surely you jest. The bait/lure matters a lot no matter what species your after. Sure fish eat better at certain times depending on the conditions and some water bodies are better than others but there will always be a presentation and bait that works better than the rest on a given day.
one lure for any fish.....I'd have to agree with the rooster tail. You can catch anything from panfish to trout to big largemouth.
Hard choice but Id have to go with a red and yellow spoon. Works good every whete for me
a zoom black trick worm. it never lets me down
My favorite lure to use bass fishin has to be either a yellow or yellow & white spinnerbait. I've tried cranks, worms, frogs, and many others, but spinners work the best.
I would choose a Bill Lewis rattle trap due to its versatility and interchange size that go along with its devastating rattle.
I would use a copper kastmaster in the 1/4 ounce weighting since it can catch all fish from brook trout to striped bass, ice fishing or open water, trolling or jigging
a jig for sure
red shad worm 6"
jig with a 4 in. green pumpkinseed worm
just a plain ole hook and worm ive caught everything on that
I have a homemade lure that works like nothing else I have ever used. It is called a hawkeye lure it is a spinner that has never failed me. Contact hawkeyeluresfish@yahoo.com
gold #7 countdown rapala
a blue gill colored shallow shad rap cought plenty of bass, blugill, and cats off of it....or a roster tail
Thats an easy one: a rapala x-rap 8 in silver. They have always produced for me in my home lake of lake jocassee. GIANTS I tell you. GIANTS.
Rapala orignal minnow.
I have to agree with dwerner -- red and white rooster tail -- there isn't anything you can't catch with those
silver floating rapala!!!!!!!!!!!!
sebile magic swimmer!!!
Rapallas Shad rap
Silver Panther Martin (for trout)
TOUGH CHOICE!! A Cabin Creek Bait Company "Tube" or their "Salty Spider Jig". Probably the "Tube".
6 inch green plastic worm.
jitterbug in black
THE CATCH ALL BAIT THE BEETLESPIN..... IF YOUCAN'T CATCH FISH ON IT GIVE IT UP... PLAY GOLF.
1/2 ounce jig
I would have to say a panther martin or possibly a mepps, those allways do well when after trout. I caught tons of rainbows and a few browns also using a dardevel spoon.
Rebel Wee Frog (The farm pond slayer).
i would choose a texas rigged baby brush hog in green pumpkin, or, for the really big bass, a 10.5 in. zomm ol' monster worm in green pumpkin. or maybe a shakey head.
definately have to be the booyah pond magic with the orange and yellow blades works great. best lure to use on pond its magice like it says.
any of the Berkly Gulp "ALIVE" baits particularly the smelt monnow or the new penny shad.
