WOW! i just did like 2 days ago. i was bass fishing in 4 feet of water, sun was out, fish were warming up. I was using a 3 inch senko type bait on a 1/32 ounce jig head, i got the plastics from gander mountain in a "Field Testers Pack", i highly recommend them, $.99 apiece (6 pieces per pack), buy 2 get one free.

I cought one that was 13 inches in Tennessee last weekend on a red and green crappie tube. I love this time of year when I can get some slabs in the freezer.

My dad caught a 12 inch white crappie, and my uncle caught a 13 inch black crappie yesterday. Not quite as big as your fish.

We catch a lot of Crappie from the 15 to 17 inch range here in Kentucky. My personal best was 19 and 3/4 inches and I caught it on Lake Cumberland in the middle of the winter.

I stick to my minnow. I seem to have the best luck on them. I'm still waiting on a 17 incher to put on the wall.
