I love to fish for crappie on an ultralight. It's a great fight and it makes the fish fry with family all the more special when you're the one who supplied the fish.

I too just love to fish. Thursday we spent 4 hours on the floodwaters and caught enough crappie and bluegill for a meal.
Sunday we took our new boat out and fished the flood for three hours and took home 18.
Still fishing is the best, so relaxing and peacefull. The sound of the loons,seeing the eagles flying over head and the swans gathered near shore. Makes one appreciate what we have been given to enjoy.
Almost as good as sitting in a bow stand, but not quite.

My favorite fish to fish for is a tie between Pike & Bass. My favorite fish to eat is cold-water Pike.

Depends on the day. I love to branch out. Last week I caught a crappie and a perch. Had not caught either in a long time. I love the challenge, when I go someplace and just catch fish as fast as i can bait the hook, I tend to get bored. Thats why I dont really fish for bullhead. Going to new places and finding the fish and catching them is rewarding in itself. I like walleye cause they are tough to catch. Bass are great cause I have them figured out. Northern are amazing predators and are so exciting when they streak out of now where and hammer your bait.

Saugeye are my main victims and that is what I eat. Looks darn near like a walleye,fights like walleye,and thrashes in the boat like a northern pike! Taste like walleye as well. I only troll with 9-12 yards of line behind the boat to catch them.
