Fishing Tarpon in Florida...
Uploaded on January 30, 2009I'm going to the pan handle of Florida and I plan to fish for Tarpon with Flys and conventional gear.
How strong of a shock tippet should I use for a 9 wt rod?
Is 65 pound braid too heavy for tarpon?
Will my Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6600 work for them?
How strong of a rod will I need for them?
What Flys and Baits do you Recommend?
Size of Hooks and Weight?
Any other lures for sea trout and reds, and Will a Med action Ugly stick work for them?
Will I need any special tools or Clothing (I have the Shirts and many hats that will work.)
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated,

I have a few friends who tarpon fished last year, they fished fly and spinning tackle. I will hit them up for some info and get back to you as soon as possible.
