That's great trout fishing. You forgot to mention the great trout fishing that Lake Taneycomo offers as well.

Yes Taney has some big trout, the state record to be exact, but this water is very uniform and alot of the big browns are dock hogs they sit and eat all the scraps of their cleaned cousins.

The North Fork is riffle run pool format with "wild" rainbow trout, last stocked in the 1940's, and trophy browns. I like to float at night to catch these dudes in the summer. They sound like a five gallon bucket of dywall mud thrown in the river when they hit on the swing. Freaked me out a few times.

MLK Day is soon aproaching my free fishing day, Yes...

see ya

Kyle is a wonderful guide and he's on THE best wild rainbow stream in the Midwest.

If you want a challenge and see some beautiful water, check out his site as well as River of Farms Lodge.

Kosofish, MLK day also happens to be the Birth date of General Robert E. Lee. I do not dignify the shoddy name of MLK with a day, so I call it Robert E. Lee day. You should too.

Junt_Fish_Sleep,

I'm very sorry about any disrespect you may have perceived from my use of MLK day. I did not mean ANY disrespect at all by the use of "MLK Day" just a abreviation of Martin Luther King Day.

I appreciate the fact you for called me out on that Thank You.

Please accept my apology.

Thanks

Kyle
