Realistic Fly Tying Blog

Uploaded on June 10, 2009

Hello all:

I would appreciate some feedback on my realistic fly tying blog.

http://dougsbugblog.blogspot.com/

I am specifically looking for answers to the following questions:

1. Which insects are not well-represented in the fly tying community?
2. What are your favorite realistic fly tying blogs, sources, tyers? I would like to connect with others out there who share my interest in this hobby.

Thanks and happy fishing

Not much interest if you want flies that catch fish. Realistic patterns are more for wearing on one's lapel. Flies that have motion, and merely simulate a food organism fish a lot better.
