Young man, I would said you must be shooting one shot groups than! Most shoot at least 3 shots in order to call it a group. The bullet alone is wider than an 8th of an inch.I'm glad you like your gun,do some reading on shooting or ask someone you know.My nephew is waiting on a new browning X BOLT to come in,he orderd one in 7mm/08.Good luck

The gun makes my mouth water, great combination of caliber and brand. Now if I could just get one that wouldn't wobble at all during the moment of truth I would procure 2 specimens.

When measuring groups you subtract the bullet diameter from the widest edges of the holes, so this group is entirely possible, and not that uncommon with a really good rifle. Maybe the guy saying that you should do some reading needs to do some reading.

Congratulations... you got a shooter! Hang on to it for the rest of your life... they are rare. You will love the 25-06. Try some 75g hollow points and some 85g ballistic tips if you want to see speed. I shoot them both at about 3,750 fps and they are FLAT shooting and deadly on varmints. You won't need the 120's unless you are shooting in heavy timber or if you are shooting moose. I shoot the 100g bullets for deer and they don't flinch after being hit.
