Tikka T3 vs BLR browning

Im lookin at buyin my first rifle. Right now im stuck between a Tikka T3 Lite and a BLR Browning. The rifle would be a 30 06, i have heard good things about both but need more info. An opions out there?

kind of hard to compare rifles that have different actions.

The tikka is a bolt action rifle. Most folks would say that bolt actions in general are more accurate than a lever action. Most rifles sold today are bolt action rifles.

The lever action may give you a faster follow up shot; alot of that depends on the shooter.

Both are good rifles but I have 5 Tikka T 3 Lites and they are the smootest bolt, great trigger and with A Sims Recoil Pad they are plesant to shoot, and very vert accurate.

I have a Tikka T3 in .300 Win mag -- very smooth and very accurate. I think you have to give the Tikka the edge in terms of accuracy. If you were opting for a lighter cartridge, I might consider the BLR, but I would go with the Tikka.
