Bird Hunting
Let me first clarify and say that Im a Benelli staff member but I just got my new Vinci and it feels unreal in the hands and I absolutely love how it swings and feels in regards to recoil.

If a duck hunter will discipline themselves to learn how to break down the Benelli and thoroughly clean it twice per season, it will last them forever.
All Benelli's are great I love them
I got to try the Vinci at the gun club it's a amazing it's light
in weight has a little kick and shoots smooth the only thing I thought that was wierd is it's a 3 in not 3 1/2 inch
I agree with young sportsman, why not 3.5" it does not make sense to me?
the benelli vinci is a very good gun to have my friend has one and we went duck hunting the other day and he dropped 2 ducks to shots from about 40 yards away, he let me shoot it... im speechless:)
i forgot to add youngsportsman makes a good point why only 3 inch
I have a Benelli M1 90 that I love, so...nothing personal to Benelli when I say my Beretta Xtrema 2 is the greatest gun I have ever owned...
If its anywhere near as tough as my Benelli Nova its a heck of a gun. I've never heard a bad report on any Benelli but I do love the 3.5" option.
I have an 870 but i picked up a vinci the other day and it is sweet. It's light, has a 3.5 chamber, and i've heard you can disassemble it in like 5 seconds or so.
I want to get a new gun myself soon. I guess I'll have to look into this one, but I've always been a huge fan of Berrtas.
My friend Chris is getting one. He saved up about 1300 dollars of his own money. I tried to convince him into getting a Remington 105 cti II but he was convinced on the Vinci
The Vinci has a number of great improvements that improve an auto loader..BUT, one of them is NOT reducing recoil!! If they say it does, it is false advertising. All Benelli autos have "blowback" design actions that rely on recoil to reclycle the shells! They use a fancy term, "ineertia action", but it is a blowback. Only a gas operated gun reduces the kick of a shotgun. Benelli autos are used for two primary reasons..first, they are easy to takedown and clean, much easier than a gas operated gun. Secondly they keep on recycling shells, and shooting when dirty. A gas operated gun needs to be clean, or it runs the risk of jamming up. Many waterfowlers use the Super Black Eagle, and do not care about the kick. It isn't a problem while shooting game birds. Trap, and sporting clays use? Very few shoot Benelli autos because of the increased recoil.
To be perfectly honest it felt fine, but I don't think that it reduced recoil as much as everybody said it would.
I'm sure it's a nice gun, but why does it need to be so bulky (ie ugly)?
